2026 서울 국제 시각장애 예술인 음악 콩쿠르(SIMB Competition) 본선 진출을 진심으로 축하드립니다. 여러분의 뛰어난 음악성과 열정으로 본선 무대에 진출하게 되신 것을 축하드리며, 아래 안내사항을 반드시 확인하여 원활한 대회 운영에 협조하여 주시기 바랍니다.

 

 

1. 본선 경연 안내

1) 일시 (GMT +9, 한국시간 기준)

① 2026년 8월 25일(화)

② 오전 8:30 참가자 등록 및 추첨

③ 오전 9:00 경연 시작

 

2) 장소

* 서울대학교 음악대학 49동 예술관 콘서트홀

 

3) 진행 안내

① 참가 순서는 당일 오전 8시 30분에 추첨으로 결정됩니다.

모든 참가자는 오전 8시 30분 이전까지 등록을 완료해 주시기 바랍니다.

② 본선은 심사의 공정성과 투명성을 위해 공개 심사로 진행되며,

일반 관객이 함께 관람할 수 있습니다.

③ 본선 종료 후 심사 결과를 발표하며 시상식을 진행합니다.

 

 

 

2. 본선 참가 안내

① 본선 일정을 포함한 모든 프로그램 일정은 홈페이지를 통해 공지됩니다.

② 복장은 정장 또는 연주 복장입니다.

③ 참가자는 본선 당일 소집 시간(오전 8시 30분)을 엄수하여 주시기 바랍니다.

④ 연주 전 조율(Tuning)은 반드시 지정된 대기실에서 완료해야 하며, 연주장 내 조율은 불가합니다.

⑤ 첼로 부문 참가자는 개인 T자를 지참하시기 바랍니다.

⑥ 추첨 순서에 따라 연습 및 경연이 진행됩니다.

⑥ 본선 진출자는 반주자를 직접 동반하여야 합니다. 반주자를 사무국에 요청시 3만원 별도입니다.

(단, 해외 참가자는 별도 협의)

⑦ 해외 참가자 중 반주자가 필요한 경우 사전에 사무국으로 연주곡 및 악보를 제출하여 주시기 바랍니다.

⑧ 수상자 명단은 홈페이지에 공지됩니다.

⑨ 경연장 내 모든 녹음 및 녹화 장비의 사용은 제한됩니다.

⑩ 콩쿠르와 관련된 사진, 음원 및 영상의 저작권은 주최 측에 귀속됩니다.

⑪ 예선곡과 본선곡은 동일하지 않아도 됩니다.

 

 

3. 콩쿠르 진행시 유의사항

① 반복(Repeat), Da Capo(D.C.) 등 반복 구간은 생략하여 연주합니다.

② 성악 부문은 전주 및 간주를 생략할 수 있습니다.

③ 오페라 아리아 및 오라토리오는 반드시 원어, 원키로 연주하여야 합니다.

④ 충분한 심사가 이루어졌다고 판단되는 경우 심사위원이 연주를 중단할 수 있습니다.

⑤ 심사 결과는 심사위원회의 최종 결정에 따르며, 이에 대한 이의는 제기할 수 없습니다.

 

4. 참가자 혜택

본선 참가자는 SIMB 기간 동안 다음 프로그램에 무료로 참여할 수 있습니다.

* K-멘토링 클래스(마스터클래스)

* 프레스트지 콘서트 8월 26일(수) 오후 7시 30분 / 참가자 1인+동반 1인 무료

* 시각장애아티스트 콘서트 8월 25일(화), 8월 26일(수) 오후 2시 ~ 오후 5시

* 입상자 연주회 8월 27일(목) 오후 3시

* 기타 부대행사

또한 행사 기간 중 제공되는 점심 식사를 이용하실 수 있습니다.

※ 참가자의 교통비 및 숙박비는 본인 부담입니다.

 

5. 본선 입상자 특전

본선 입상자는 SIMB Competition Artist로 선정되어 서울 국제 시각장애 예술인 뮤직 페스티벌의 공식 아티스트로 활동하게 됩니다.

입상자에게는 입상자 연주회 공연 후 다음과 같이 출연료가 지급됩니다.

1위 300만 원, 2위 230만 원, 3위 180만 원, 4위 130만 원, 5위 90만 원, 6위 70만 원

※ 공연에 참여하지 않을 경우 출연료는 지급되지 않습니다.

※ 출연료는 대한민국 세법에 따라 세금을 공제한 후 지급됩니다.

 

6. 참가자 준비사항

본선 참가자는 아래 사항을 반드시 준비하여 주시기 바랍니다.

* 개인 악기(피아노·성악 제외)

* 정식 출판된 연주 악보

* 반주자(해당자)

 

7. 기타 안내

① 본선 참가자는 행사 진행을 위하여 사무국의 안내에 적극 협조하여 주시기 바랍니다.

② 공연 중 촬영된 사진과 영상은 SIMB 홍보 및 기록자료로 활용될 수 있습니다.

③ 일정 및 운영 내용은 주최 측 사정에 따라 일부 변경될 수 있으며, 변경 사항은 홈페이지 및 개별 안내를 통해 공지합니다.

2026 Seoul International Music Competition

for Blind Artists (SIMB Competition)

 

 

Official Information for Finalists

 

Dear Finalist,

The Organizing Committee of the 2026 Seoul International Music Competition for Blind Artists (SIMB Competition) extends its warmest congratulations on your advancement to the Final Round.

Your outstanding musicianship and dedication have earned you a place among this year's finalists. We kindly ask that you read the following information carefully and comply with the competition regulations to ensure the smooth operation of the competition.

 

1. Final Round Schedule

2) Venue

Concert Hall, Building 49 (Arts Center),
College of Music, Seoul National University

 

3) Competition Procedures

The order of performance shall be determined by a random drawing of lots conducted during registration.

All finalists shall complete registration no later than 8:30 a.m.

The Final Round shall be conducted as an open competition in order to ensure fairness and transparency.

The Final Round shall be open to the public.

The results of the competition shall be announced immediately following the conclusion of the Final Round, after which the Awards Ceremony will take place.

 

 

2. Participant Information

1) Official Schedule

All schedules relating to the Final Round and the SIMB Festival shall be announced through the official SIMB website.

 

2) Dress Code

Participants are required to wear formal concert attire.

 

3) Registration

Participants shall arrive at the venue in sufficient time to complete registration by 8:30 a.m. Failure to register within the designated time may result in disqualification from the competition.

 

4) Instrument Tuning

All tuning shall be completed in the designated waiting room prior to entering the stage. On-stage tuning shall not be permitted.

 

5) Cello Participants

Participants in the cello category shall bring their own endpin stopper (anchor).

 

6) Practice and Performance Order

Practice sessions and performances shall proceed according to the order determined by the official drawing of lots.

 

7) Accompanists

Finalists are responsible for arranging their own accompanist.

Participants who request an accompanist through the Organizing Committee shall be charged an additional fee of KRW 30,000.

 

8) Overseas Participants

Special arrangements may be made for overseas participants, where applicable.

Overseas participants requiring an official accompanist are requested to submit their repertoire and sheet music to the Secretariat in advance.

9) Announcement of Prize Winners

The list of prize winners shall be published on the official SIMB website.

 

10) Recording and Photography

No audio recording, video recording, or photography by participants or audience members shall be permitted inside the competition venue without prior authorization from the Organizing Committee.

 

11) Copyright

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to photograph, audio-record, video-record, broadcast, archive, and otherwise use all performances for promotional, educational, archival, and non-commercial purposes.

 

12) Repertoire

The repertoire for the Final Round may differ from that of the Preliminary Round.

 

 

3. Competition Regulations

All repeat sections, including Repeats, Da Capo (D.C.), Dal Segno (D.S.), and similar indications, shall be omitted in performance.

For the Vocal Division, instrumental introductions and interludes may be omitted where appropriate.

Opera arias and oratorio works shall be performed in the original language and original key.

The Jury reserves the right to interrupt a performance once sufficient assessment has been made.

The decisions of the Jury shall be final and binding and shall not be subject to appeal.

 

 

4. Participant Benefits

All finalists are invited to participate in the following programs during the 2026 Seoul International Music Festival for Blind Artists (SIMB) free of charge.

 

* K-Mentoring Class (Masterclass)

Finalists are eligible to attend the K-Mentoring Class (Masterclass) offered as part of the SIMB Festival.

 

* Prestige Concert

Wednesday, 26 August 2026 | 7:30 p.m.

Each finalist will receive complimentary admission for one accompanying guest to the Prestige Concert.

 

* Blind Artists Concert

Tuesday, 25 August 2026
Wednesday, 26 August 2026

2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Finalists are welcome to attend the Blind Artists Concert held during the festival.

 

* Winners' Concert

Thursday, 27 August 2026 | 3:00 p.m.

Prize winners will perform in the Winners' Concert as part of the official SIMB Festival program.

 

* Other Festival Events

Finalists are also invited to participate in additional festival events organized during the SIMB Festival.

 

* Meals

Lunch will be provided to all finalists throughout the festival period.

 

* Travel and Accommodation

Participants shall be responsible for all travel, accommodation, and other personal expenses incurred in connection with their participation in the competition.

 

 

 

5. Awards

Prize winners shall be officially recognized as SIMB Competition Artists and will be invited to participate as official artists of the Seoul International Music Festival for Blind Artists.

 

Following their participation in the Winners' Concert, performance fees shall be awarded as follows:

Third Prize	KRW 1,800,000
Fourth Prize	KRW 1,300,000
Fifth Prize	KRW 900,000
Sixth Prize	KRW 700,000

 

Performance fees shall be paid only to prize winners who participate in the Winners' Concert.

All payments shall be made after applicable taxes have been withheld in accordance with the tax laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea.

 

 

6. Required Materials

All finalists shall prepare the following items for the Final Round.

* Personal instrument (except Piano and Voice categories)

* Officially published sheet music

* Accompanist (where applicable)

Participants are advised to ensure that all required materials are prepared in advance to facilitate the smooth operation of the competition.

 

 

7. General Information

Participants shall cooperate fully with the instructions provided by the Organizing Committee throughout the competition and festival.

Photographs and video recordings taken during the competition and festival may be used by the Organizing Committee for promotional, educational, archival, and documentary purposes.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend the competition schedule or operational procedures if circumstances so require. Any such changes will be announced through the official website and, where appropriate, by individual notification.

Participation in the 2026 Seoul International Music Competition for Blind Artists (SIMB Competition) constitutes acceptance of these regulations and all decisions made by the Jury and the Organizing Committee.
